Foxes clinch Ajdarevic deal
Leicester City have completed the permanent signing of midfielder Astrit Ajdarevic from Liverpool.
Ajdarevic finished last season on loan with the Foxes, making five substitute appearances as the club clinched promotion from League One.
He had been keen to secure a permanent deal at the Walkers Stadium after being impressed by Leicester boss Nigel Pearson.
The Swedish youth international has now signed a one-year contract and becomes the club's sixth capture of the summer.

Flynn set for another loan move
Ryan Flynn is set for another loan move away from Liverpool FC
this summer.
The 20-year-old midfielder enjoyed a productive spell at Wrexham FC last season as he scored four goals in 21 appearances.
Boss Rafa Benitez believes another temporary switch will aid the youngster’s development and a number of clubs are chasing his services.
Flynn’s agent David Threlfall said: "Liverpool are prepared to loan out Ryan during this summer’s transfer window.
"This is a big year for Ryan and he wants to be playing regular first-team football to continue his development.
"I have had a few enquiries for Ryan and we will sit down and decide what is the best option for him before deciding where to go."

Forest boss seals Anderson deal
Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies has signed midfielder Paul Anderson from Liverpool on a three-year contract in a deal worth £250,000.
The 20-year-old winger, who spent last season on loan at the City Ground, becomes the Reds' third signing this week following the acquisitions of David McGoldrick from Southampton on Monday and Dele Adebola from Bristol City earlier on Tuesday.
Anderson made 28 appearances for Forest last season after missing the early part of the campaign through injury.
He scored two league goals and impressed with his speedy performances and ability to operate on either flank

Torres: Reds must keep key duo
Liverpool striker Fernando Torres believes the club have to hang on to the likes of Xabi Alonso and Javier Mascherano if they are to depose Manchester United as Barclays Premier League champions.
The two midfielders are major targets for Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively but Torres is in agreement with manager Rafael Benitez that neither should be sold - despite potential offers in excess of
£25millon each.
"I worry about losing my team-mates but if we can keep our best players and bring in some more, we'll be even stronger for next season," he said.
On Monday Alonso failed to pledge his full commitment to the Merseysiders while Barca president Joan Laporta again hinted they were willing to use Mascherano's international team-mate Lionel Messi to lure the Argentina captain away from Anfield.
The increasing speculation about the two is a concern for Torres, who himself signed an improved contract with the club towards the end
of last season.
"The important thing is we're getting closer to the title. It's been frustrating for me because three years without a trophy for Liverpool is too long,"
he added.
"The next one is coming, though - I'm sure of it. Man United have been the strongest team in Europe but they've lost an important player (Real Madrid-bound Cristiano Ronaldo), so maybe it's our time now.
"My ambition is to win trophies with Liverpool. We must win something next season.
"And then, with Spain, it's obvious that the 2010 World Cup is our big challenge. I hope 2009-10 will be a great season for me."

MONDAY 29
Alonso undecided on future
Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso has again refused to confirm whether he will still be playing his football at Anfield next season.
The Spanish international has been heavily linked with a big money move to La Liga giants Real Madrid this summer and reports suggest that Reds boss Rafa Benitez has a job on his hands to tempt him to stay
on Merseyside.
After scoring Spain’s winning goal in the 3-2 victory over South Africa yesterday in the FIFA Confederations Cup, Alonso spoke to Spanish football journal, Don Balon
He said, “In respect to all this I have not closed any door and we will just have to wait and see what happens.
“It is always positive when various teams are said to want you because that is better than nobody being interested, but I cannot say much more.
“I know that I have to keep playing well and will be able to decide what happens next whenever it arises.
“I do not think a move to Real Madrid is impossible, but I would also have no regrets at all staying at Liverpool.”

Midfielder still wanted
Barcelona president Joan Laporta has not given up hope of landing Liverpool's Argentine midfielder Javier Mascherano.
The Catalan giants have made no secret of their desire to take Mascherano to the Nou Camp despite Liverpool's insistence that he is
not for sale.
Laporta is still hoping that Lionel Messi could persuade the player to move to the European champions despite Mascherano's insistence that he is happy where he is.
"Mascherano is a close friend of Leo Messi. We will see what happens. He's a player I like very much," Laporta told icat FM.

Skrtel backs Johnson

SUNDAY 28
Alonso seals third place for Spain
Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso scored an extra-time free-kick as Spain beat the hosts South Africa 3-2 in the third-place play-off at the Confederations Cup.
Spain had been the favourites to win the tournament but they suffered a shock defeat to the United States in the semi-finals.
The play-off match appeared to be going the same way when Katlego Mphela gave South Africa the lead in the 73rd minute.
But Daniel Guiza scored two goals in two minutes to put Spain ahead.
However, Mphela forced the game into extra time by firing home a free-kick in the last minute of normal time.
Spain clinched victory early in the second period of extra time when Alonso curled a free-kick of his own into the bottom right-hand corner.

Agent: Arbeloa keen to leave Reds

Alvaro Arbeloa's representative claims the Liverpool defender is keen to leave Anfield with Real Madrid understood to be keen.
The Spain international's future at Liverpool is in doubt following the big-money capture of Glen Johnson from Portsmouth.
The Reds are in talks with Arbeloa over a new deal with the full-back entering the final year of his contract, but Reds boss Rafa Benitez has refused to rule out a transfer for the former Deportivo La Coruna defender.
Real Madrid have confirmed their interest in Arbeloa along with team-mate Xabi Alonso and Arbeloa's representative Manuel Garcia Quilon believes Liverpool should let him move on.
"Alvaro has a year left on his current deal and Rafa Benitez knows that it's best to let him go now," Garcia Quilon told the Sunday Mirror.
"The career of a football player has many stages and he is qualified to play anywhere."

Torres recommends Che trio
Fernando Torres has told Rafa Benitez that any of Valencia's David Silva, Juan Mata or David Villa would be excellent signings for Liverpool.
Los Che are expected to sell some of their stars this summer due to crippling debts and Spain international Villa has already been linked with
a Premier League switch.
The likes of Chelsea and Manchester United have been linked with the deadly striker, although it is thought he would rather stay in Spain ahead of a move to England.
While Silva leads the line for Valencia he is supported by the likes of Mata and Silva. Mata is primarily a left winger while Silva can play on either wing or as a supporting striker.
Torres knows Benitez has a star-studded squad and thinks that with just one or two astute signings they will be well-placed to finish top of the table come the end of next season.
"We have some very good players but maybe we need other players," admitted Torres. "I hope Liverpool will bring people like Silva, Mata
or Villa.
"These are small players with quality like United had with Carlos Tevez and also with Paul Scholes.
"They are clever players and maybe they can make the difference. Yossi Benayoun plays like these players and I hope we can bring more like that.
"I have recommended the names to Benitez and I hope we have the money."

El Nino short-listed for Golden Ball
Fernando Torres is among a list of 10 contenders for the Confederations Cup Golden Ball award.
The Reds forward is already joint top of the competition's goalscoring charts following his hat-trick against New Zealand and will be hoping a good show in Sunday's third and fourth place play-off could also help him finish with the player of the tournament gong.
Spain have two other players on the list in the shape of Xavi and David Villa, while the USA have Clint Dempsey and Landon Donovan and South Africa have Bernard Parker and Steven Pienaar.
The Brazilian trio of Kaka, Robinho and Luis Fabiano complete
the list of 10.
